The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is a mountain located in northeastern
 isolated outside the Andes located near the Caribbean coast of Colombia.
 It is the highest coastal mountain formation in the world,
which rises abruptly from the shores of the Caribbean Sea to a height of 5,775 meters
 in its snowy peaks, located only 42 kilometers from it.
